DIGITAL SIGNATURE CERTIFICATE (DSC) Registration

Everything is going digital in India and so is the process of identification. To digitally verify your identity and for fulfilling various statutory compliances, you need to have a Digital Signature Certificate (DSC). Now a series of questions would come to our mind like what is DSC? What are the classes of DSC? What is the difference between Class 2 digital signature and Class 3 digital signature? And How to apply or get Digital Signature Online?

To validate and certify the identity of a person, a secure digital key is issued by the certifying authorities like sify, emudhra and so on, known as DSC. It basically contains user information such as his/her name, pin code, country, date of issuance of certificate and name of certifying authority. DSC is equivalent to written signature and it helps to establish the identity of a person filing the document. You can register DSC by contacting us and submitting required documents.

DSC is classified into 3 categories – Class 2, Class 3 and DGFT. Class 2 digital signature is used for filing documents with Income Tax Authorities or with Registrar of Companies. While, Class 3 digital signature certificates are used by vendors who wish to apply for e-tenders i.e. online bidding. DGFT digital signature is operated by exporters and importers under Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT). It enables digital signature for online license applications and also provides other benefits like security, low application fee, reduced turnover time for issuance of license and cost savings. Use of DSC reduces cost and time; keeps the data safe and secure and authenticates the personal information of user while conducting business online.
